About Magic Tricks

As a child, one of my greatest attractions on television programme is magic show. I was always amazed and wanted to learn how to perform these magic tricks.

As I grew a little older, I got hold of a small book on magic. However, I could not perform most of the magic tricks written in the book because there were many items that I either could not find, or I did not know what they were. Otherwise, I could not design those little props such as a small container attached to a spring or an elastic string.

The thought of learning and performing magic eventually got buried beneath a thousand concerns as I grew older and busier until the year 2007. I was taking a year of leave from my job to write my Master Dissertation and I noticed a magic shop opposite a shop that I regularly visited. The thought came to me, “What if I could perform really professional magic like a professional magician?” Perhaps I could learn a magic trick or two by visiting this magic shop.

I stepped in and became a patron of that magic shop. A world of professional magic was opened to me. That little magic book I had during my childhood is … CHILD’S PLAY.

In 2008, I was taught how to create website with WordPress. So I experimented building a blog on … MAGIC. The blog was created on a subdirectory and not on the main directory, that was left blank and empty as I was not sure if I wanted to keep the website. At this moment I am taking a course and required to use a website for my assignments and projects, I have then decided to take this opportunity to complete this incomplete website which I have procrastinated time and again.
